A Day in London

Alice and Ben decided to go to London for the day before school started. They hadn't been on a date for awhile so they apparated to London for some shopping then dinner. "We haven't been out for awhile, this is nice."

Ben walked next to Alice, his hand intertwined with hers. He smiled at her. "This is a nice change. It really has been a while since we've gotten out."

Alice laughed. "Yeah, we're usually in our room." She winked and smiled.

Ben laughed softly, he leaned in and gave Alice a quick kiss. "And there's nothing wrong with that."

"Nope, there isn't." She smiled and kissed him back. She looked up at him and sighed. "Ben, I don't know how to tell you this but uh.....i'm pregnant." She said the last part very quietly.

Ben stopped, completely stunned. "This...is great!" He hugged Alice. "How far along are you?"

"Only a week....I was going to tell you sooner but I didn't know how you'd react. I'm going to start getting big really soon, like possibly.....2 days." Alice said smiling and hugged him back.

"My reaction wouldn't be anything less than overjoyed." Ben grinned and kissed Alice. "Any thoughts on a name?"

"We don't even know how many or gender." she laughed. "But I was thinking for a boy Jimi Jr, and a girl Neveah." She smiled.

"Oh right. I forgot about that." Ben chuckled. "Well how about we get some dinner first and then go find out. Or the other way around."

"Let's find out first, so then we can talk names over dinner." She smiled.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Ben grinned and apparated the two of them to St. Mungo's.

Alice smiled and talked to a nurse in St. Mungo's.

"Sure we can get you tested, just sit there and we'll get a healer for you." She smiled and sent a small owl to what Alice guessed was a healer.

Alice sat down next to Ben and waited, holding his hand the whole time.

Ben sat, trying to contain his excitement. He wasn't sure who was more nervous, him or Alice. He gave Alice's hand a small squeeze and smiled at her.

Alice smiled and kissed his cheek. "I love you."

A healer came out and smiled politely. "Miss Hale and Mr. Kanst?"

"That's us." Alice said standing.

"Come along, you'll need to see our vampire specialist." she said and took them to a back room.

"Ooo vampire specialist. We're special." Ben laughed softly. He got up and followed the healer into the room.

Alice sat on the examiner table and did everything the healer told her too.

"So, you are a week along?" he asked.

"Yes." Alice smiled and nodded.

"And you are both vampires, you should start to show tomorrow and get bigger for the next two weeks. Then your children should be born in another month. Their due date is October 4th."

"Wait their?" Alice asked confused.

"Yes, you are having twins. A boy and a girl. Congratulations." he smiled at Alice.

Ben laughed and hugged Alice again. "The news just keeps getting better. This is wonderful baby." He smiled at the healer. "I think this solves our name problem too."

Alice smiled and hugged him back. "Yes it does, and with the wedding a couple weeks after they're supposed to be born they can be in it!"

"That's perfect!" Ben laughed. "And all our plans click into place."

Alice smiled and put a hand on her stomach. "Wow, I'm gonna be a mom."

Ben grinned and placed his hand over Alice's. "To twins too. I never thought I'd be a dad."

Alice smiled and kissed him. "Well you're going to be, I can't wait until they get here."

"I've never been more excited, nervous, or thrilled in my life." Ben kissed Alice back. "Let's go celebrate."

The healer told Alice and Ben all they needed to know until the babies were born. "No drinking, too much stress, a lot of walking, or....intercourse until they are born." he told them.

Alice nodded her head. "Alright, that won't be too hard. It's only two months."
